I’m a Realtor who works outside the San Pedro area, so I’ve worked with a lot of different agents over the years. After dealing with Carol Anne Mills, I can definitely see why she has such a strong reputation as a San Pedro, Rancho Palos Verdes and surrounding communities Realtor. I got a firsthand look at how Carol Anne works when a buyer contacted her wanting her to represent them on one of her listings. A lot of agents would probably be excited about the opportunity to represent both sides of the deal and make the extra commission. That wasn’t Carol Anne’s approach. Instead, she did her homework. She contacted references and Realtors who had worked with this buyer before because she wanted to know who she was dealing with and make sure she was doing the right thing for her sellers. That’s actually how she ended up calling me—the buyer had listed me as a reference from a previous transaction. I was able to give her my honest experience with that buyer, and unfortunately, it wasn’t a good one. The previous transaction had been extremely difficult, and there were some serious concerns about how the buyer had handled things. What impressed me was that Carol Anne was willing to dig deeper instead of simply looking at the deal as a chance to make more money. She was clearly thinking about her sellers first. That says a lot about a Realtor. Carol Anne has the experience to know that getting a deal closed isn’t always the most important thing. Protecting your client, asking the right questions, and knowing who you’re dealing with can be just as important. After seeing that firsthand, I understand why Carol Anne Mills has built such a strong reputation as a San Pedro, Rancho Palos Verdes and surrounding communities Realtor. She genuinely looks out for her clients and takes her responsibility to them seriously. That’s the kind of Realtor I would feel comfortable recommending. Willie Garcia
